The Periodic Table

Nottingham University have developed a web site which offers a short video clip about each of the 118 elements in the Periodic table (Yes, 118, even though some of them have been made in only 2 or 3 atoms)

To access the site, click  www.periodicvideos.com

The Encyclopaedia of Life

This web site plans to document, in depth, all 1.8 million life-forms on the planet.   Clearly it will take many years for this to be achieved, but it is well worth a visit
