Location:

Rosetti Hall, Holmer Green

THE DISCOVERING ART STUDY GROUP mainly studies painting, although is interested in all forms of art.

Usually ten meetings a year are addressed by members and one by a professional external lecturer. In August there's a visit to a gallery outside London.

During the winter months a small focus group meets to study ,a particular school or area of painting, and some of its findings are subsequently relayed to the main group.

Members are interested in the London exhibitions: a list of current and future openings is available at meetings, and the National Gallery monthly programme is displayed. The Group owns a small collection of books for borrowing.

Discovering Art is run by a convening team, and everyone helps in some way. Meetings start at 2.15 on the second Wednesday, at the Rossetti Hall, 38 New Pond Lane, Holmer Green, Bucks. HP15 6SU.

If you would like visit Discovering Art please contact the Convenor, Paddy Cooper, on 01753 662505.
